On February 27, the transfer of the Executive Secretary was carried out at the offices of the Superior Audit Institution of Mexico.
During this event the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile—which held the position of Executive Secretariat from 2013-2022—entrusted the position to the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation of Mexico, which will hold the Executive secretariat of OLACEFS for the current period of 2023-2028, extendable for an additional 3 years.
The event was attended by the heads and delegates of the SAIs of Brazil, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, and Paraguay, as well as the German Cooperation, represented by the GIZ. All along the event, the strength of the Organization and its international positioning was emphasized, since it was achieved through the efforts and collaborative work of its members, committees, commissions, and working groups.
The ceremony was broadcasted via streaming so that it could be followed by the entire OLACEFS community.
