On May 25, 2022, an INTOSAI delegation consisting of the First Vice-President of INTOSAI, Minister Bruno Dantas; the Secretary-General of INTOSAI, Dr. Margit Kraker; the members of the INTOSAI Steering Committee, Dr. Harib Saeed Al Amimi, Counsellor Hesham Badawy, and the OLACEFS Executive Secretary Jorge Bermúdez Soto met with the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), António Guterres, at the UN headquarters in New York.

The visit was made at the initiative of the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU – Brazil) in its capacity as the future presidency of INTOSAI and host of the next INTOSAI Congress. Minister Bruno Dantas stressed the importance of UN cooperation with INTOSAI and invited the UN Secretary-General to inaugurate the XXIV INCOSAI in November 2022.
