From May until October, on the first Wednesday of each month, at 11:00 a.m. in Santiago de Chile (UTC-4), the Working Group on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination (GTG) of the Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS) will hold a keynote speech series entitled “HANDS ON DECK: GENDER EQUALITY AND NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY.” Each meeting will have high-level panelists and moderators, who will present the axes that make up the OLACEFS Policy on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination, seeking to deepen its dimensions and recommendations. The purpose of these speeches is to provide the necessary guidelines for the implementation of the Policy. This is why the importance of each of the axes (Ethical Culture, Inclusion, Sexual/Workplace Harassment, Organizational Culture, People Management, and Audit Functions) will be highlighted both for the operation of the SAI and for the achievement of its tasks in a successful way, allowing the gender approach to permeate within the institution in a transversal way. This coming Wednesday, May 4 will begin the series with the axis of Ethical Culture as the precursor of this great activity.
