Within the framework of the work of the Technical Commission to Combat Transnational Corruption (CTCT), the Information Exchange Task Force led by the SAI of Colombia between 2021 and 2022, makes the main products developed to date by this group available.
To this end, last Thursday, June 16, the SAI of Colombia led a webinar with the participation of the Presidency of the CTCT, headed by the SAI of Chile, the SAI of Colombia, the SAI of Ecuador, the German Cooperation through the GIZ, representatives of the SAI members of the CTCT and consultants responsible for the preparation of the respective reports.
At the meeting, three main products were highlighted:
- Report “Legal aspects to promote the exchange of information between Supreme Audit Institutions that make up OLACEFS” prepared by the consultant Osvaldo Rudloff Pulgar.
- “Guide to the exchange of information between Supreme Audit Institutions,” which, as indicated by the SAI of Ecuador, provides a broad exchange model between SAIs based on regulatory possibilities and capacities.
- Report “Towards the consolidation of a system of exchange of information between Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America” and its annexprepared by the Civil Association for Equality and Justice. This product identifies the most sensitive aspects of corruption from the analysis of various sources of information.
