ATED AUDIT ON GENDER-BASED VIOLEN CE
The Working Group on Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination (GTG) of
the Organization of Latin American and Caribbean Supreme Audit
Institutions (OLACEFS), led by the Office of the Comptroller General of the
Republic of Chile (CGR), with support from the Regional Project
“Strengthening External Control for the Prevention and Fight against
Corruption,” implemented by the German Cooperation, through GIZ, will
carry out the third coordinated audit on gender equality of the
Organization and the first by the Working Group. This Coordinated Audit,
which will be a performance audit, known as a 3E audit by SAI Chile, will
aim to evaluate the efficiency of government actions, whether plans or
programs, in favor of eradicating violence against women, during the
2019-2021 period. In this way, the reality before and during the pandemic
will be observed, which will allow a comparison of the state response and
the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on it.
The Coordinated Audit on Gender-Based Violence: “State Response in
the Prevention, Punishment and Eradication of Violence
against Women” will
have the participation of 24 OLACEFS members
(13 full members and 11 associate members):
